(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) — Fresh off their victories at the Central Missouri Mule Run, Adam Tredway and Megan Glamann have been named the MIAA Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Athletes of the Week, according to a press release.
Tredway crossed the finish line in the 6400m race in 20:22.38 to claim the individual title just ahead of teammate Tyler Stuber. The Mules had eight of the top 11 finishers in the race as they claimed the team title. In two races this season, the Louisiana, Mo. native has a runner-up finish and a first place finish.
Glamann won the individual title in the women’s race in a 4K time of 14:44.27. She helped lead the Jennies to a third place finish in the team race. The Junior is a native of Kearney, Mo.
This is the first Athlete of the Week award for both Tredway and Glamann.
The Mules and Jennies Cross Country teams are off this weekend. They will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Roy Griak Minnesota Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn.
