Tigers baseball lose 6-2 to Olathe East

(LAWRENCE, Kan.)–Warrensburg baseball (3-8, 3-1) traveled to Lawrence for the prestigious 16th Annual River City Festival on Thursday. Jordan Carr battled for seven innings against one of Kansas’ best high school baseball teams, but still ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision.

Warrensburg hitters struggled for five innings to get a hit until Cody Lowry laced a double in the bottom of the fifth. In the final inning the Tigers scored twice.  An RBI single by Kye Denker and an error sparked the rally which ended on a ground ball out. The Tigers face Topeka Haden on Friday at 10:00 am at Lawrence High School.
