Jerry Christopher Stevenson, 68, Clinton, Mo, died Thursday, Sept. 5 at home.

He was born December 30, 1944 in North Kansas City, Mo. the son of Mose Christopher ad Mary Lucille (Lay) Stevenson.  Jerry was a 1962 graduate of Kingsville High School, Kingsville, MO.  He served four years in the Missouri National Guard, and on March 3, 1967 he married Charla Louise Page in Liberty, Mo.

Mr. Stevenson was a maintenance worker at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Harrisonville, Mo.  He had lived in Kingsville and Leeton, Mo. before moving to Clinton in 2003. He was a member of the Kingsville Community of Christ Church.

Surviving his passing are his wife, Charla, of the home; one son, William Charles Stevenson, Creighton, Mo.; a sister, Judy Williams, Independence, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Cremation was under the direction of Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home, Holden, Mo.
