(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) — The Warrensburg Lady Tigers fell to the Smith Cotton Lady Tigers, 25-18, 25-9, Thursday night.

“The team played well the first game,” Senior libero Emily Whitney said. “We just gave up for the second. Passing was outstanding and the passers rocked both serve receive and defense. The hitters could not put a ball down and that cost us the game. Our hitters will have to step up and play their game.”

The team hopes to improve at St. Pius tonight at 5 p.m.

“We can’t win unless our offense fixes their constant errors,” said Whitney.
