Flax gave UCM the lead for good, splitting a pair of free throws after drawing a foul from Kate Frazier with 5:23 left in the game.

With the Jennies up 69-67 with just over a minute remaining, Lincoln had an opportunity to tie the score, but UCM’s defense forced Rosado into an offensive foul with 47 seconds left. Shelby Winkelmann found Howard who finished with a layup on the next possession to put the Jennies ahead, 71-67.
