Loren Harvey Hedglin, 63, of Holden, Missouri, died Thursday, July 30, at St. Luke’s Hospice House.

Loren was born July 26, 1951, in Woodriver, Nebraska, the son of Harold Harvey Hedglin and Myrtle K. Sorensen.

He married Stephanie (Toole) Hedglin on Jan. 13, 1983, in Holden. Loren worked at Stahl Specialty Company for many years.

Loren is survived by his wife, Stephanie Hedglin; five sons, Joseph Hedglin of Warrensburg, Missouri; Patrick Hedglin of Warrensburg; Michael Hedglin of Odessa, Missouri; Nicholas Hedglin of Odessa; and William Hedglin of Warrensburg; two daughters, Lorie Parham of Sedalia, Missouri; and Mellissa O’Donnell of Warrensburg; one brother, Clinton Hedglin of Sedalia; and two sisters, Doris Sigman and Ethel Flannery, both of Washington; and four grandchildren.

Cremation is under the direction of Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home in Holden. No services are scheduled at this time.
