Thomas W. Rewerts, 56, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Saturday, March 28, at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 2, at Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, Missouri, with Tom Buttram officiating and visitation services beginning at 3 p.m.
Thomas was born July 12, 1958, in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Charles and Charlotte (Tressillian) Rewerts.
On Feb. 16, 1980, he was united in marriage to Margaret Deats in Oscoda, Michigan.
Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a carpenter until his retirement. He volunteered at the Missouri State Veterans Home in Warrensburg, Missouri, as well as worked at Missouri National Guard Armory.
Thomas is survived by his wife Margaret, one son, Daniel Rewerts and wife, Emily, of Rolla, Missouri; two step-daughters, Dawn Deacon of Grain Valley, Missouri; and Connie Rich of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; three brothers: Mark Rewerts and wife Nancy of Loves Park, Illinois, Jeff Rewerts and John Rewerts, both of Rockford, Illinois; six grandchildren: Harley, Jack and Charlotte Rewerts, Matt Ewing, Kyle and Casey Rich.
