Nancy Ann ‘Dabbs’ Stoddard

Nancy Ann “Dabbs” Stoddard, 55, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, at home.

Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at Appleton City Cemetery, Appleton City, Missouri, with Pastor Michael Wakeman officiating.

She was born Aug. 19, 1959, in Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Hugh Dabbs and Anna Mae Carter, (Billingsley). Nancy lived in the Holden area since November 2013.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Dabbs; and her mother, Anna Mae Carter, (Billingsley); one son, Justin Padley; and one niece, Joanna Stewart.

She is survived by three brothers, Bill Dabbs, and wife, Monica, of Louisburg, Kansas; Lewis Dabbs, Butler, Missouri; James Dabbs, of Texas; three sisters, Linda Hancock, and husband, Paul, of Holden, Missouri; Norma Stewart, of Wyoming; Debbie Pettry, of Osage Beach, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jordon and JC Padley, of Oklahoma; and four nieces, 34 nephews, 10 great-nieces, and two great-nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Nancy Ann Stoddard to be used at the wishes of the family.
