International Contemporary Ensemble at UCM

The Performing Arts Series and the department of music at the University of Central Missouri is set to present The International Contemporary Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, in Hart Recital Hall.
The group is composed of 35 leading instrumentalists performing in forces ranging from solos to large ensemblesy.
The PAS and the UCM Department of Music will bring an ensemble of three ICE musicians to Warrensburg for a four-day residency that will include workshops and seminars focused on ICE and the arts in the 21st century, master classes, a presentation for K-2 students at Maple Grove Elementary, and a collaborative performance Wednesday evening involving the ICE musicians and student performers.
Tickets for the ICE concert are $3 for students and $7 for adults and are available at the Central Tickets box office in Administration 100, by calling 660-543-8888, online at ucmpas.com, and one hour prior to show time.
Financial assistance for this project has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council.
