A Drug Take Back Program is set scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. People can bring any unused or expired prescriptions or over-the-counter medicine to Bi-Lo Country Mart, 410 E. Young St. in Warrensburg.

Items accepted are expired or unneeded over-the-counter medications, any medication from a licensed pharmacist and veterinary prescriptions no longer needed. No illicit drugs, sharp objects or needles, radioactive medications or bio-hazardous materials, glass thermometers or other medical devices will be accepted. To help contribute to a safe environment, medicine and drugs should not be flushed down a toilet or disposed in a sink, according to information about the event.
