Lynne Terry Drake, 68, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Saturday, Nov. 7, at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at her sister’s home located at 650 W. 11^th Road in Warrensburg.

She was born May 7, 1947, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Murray and Henrietta (Smidt) Miller.

She was united in marriage to Hugh “Bud” Drake on April 12, 2003, in Newport Beach, California.

Lynne worked for 32 years at Olive View Hospital in Sylmar, California. After retiring, she and her husband moved to Warrensburg.

Lynne is survived by her husband, Bud; one daughter, Danielle Failla; and one grandson, Justin Simonowski, both of Kansas City, Kansas; one sister, Debra Sowers; and brother-in-law, Donald Sowers, both of Warrensburg; and one uncle, Allan Smidt, of Westlake Village, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
