Chad Andrew Davis, 43, of Independence, Missouri, formerly of Holden, Missouri, died Nov. 29, at his home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow.

Chad was born March 28, 1972, in Warrensburg, Missouri, to Eddie Dean Davis and Rita Faye (Rogers) Davis. Chad attended Holden schools and graduated from Holden High School in 1990. Chad worked for Invacare Health in Kansas City, Missouri, as a truck driver.

Chad was preceded in death by his sister, Chandra Renee Davis. Surviving his passing are his parents, Eddie D. Davis and Rita F. Davis; Paula Richman, of the home; nephew Andrew Maddux, of Independence; nieces, Breann Shuck, of San Diego, Calif.; and Shayla McDowell, of Holden, and many extended family.
