The Central Missouri Mules baseball team and Warrensburg Parks & Recreation are hosting “Youth Team Day” on Sunday, April 17, as the Mules play host to the Lions from Missouri Southern State University at 1 p.m. at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field. Area youth teams’ players and coaches, in team jersey tops, will be provided free admission to the game.

Following the game, WPR and UCM baseball will host a free Scotts Major League Baseball Pitch Hit and Run competition for area youth. The skills competition is tentatively scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

For the MLB Skills Competition:

Boys and girls are divided into four age divisions: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14. Ages are determined as of July 17, 2016 for the competition. All participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate and have their parent or guardian fill out a registration/waiver form prior to the start of the competition.
