Vicki Lynn Morgan, 62, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Wednesday, June 1, at her home.

Cremation graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Brent Bullard officiating.

Vicki was born Oct. 1, 1954, the daughter of Gordon and Betty (Fitterling) Smith.

Vicki graduated from Sterling High School and was a lifelong resident of Warrensburg. Vicki was affectionately known as “the cat lady” by residents of Country Club Care Center because she was always sporting cat attire while at work. She loved spending time with family but the enjoyment of her grandchildren was undeniable.

Vicki is survived by three children, Stephanie Garvin and husband, Randy, of Brandon, Florida; Sherrie Moore and husband, Sam, of Robinson, Texas; and Mark Morgan and wife, Kristen, of Warrensburg; her father, Gordon Smith, of Warrensburg; two sisters, Michelle Lynn and husband, Jeff, of Warrensburg; and Leah Harris, of Blue Springs; five grandchildren, Courtney Lynn, Sammy Moore, Brayden Moore, Sidney Morgan and Margo Morgan; and one great-granddaughter, Aubrey Lynn.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Christine Morgan, and her mother, Betty Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Vicki Lynn Morgan Memorial Fund with checks made payable to Stephanie Garvin and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.
