The concert season will begin with a road trip to Joplin on Friday, June 24, under the direction of conductor Dr. Russell Coleman.

The band was invited back to be a part of the Joplin Pro Art Music series. The Band’s second concert is their annual fundraising concert at Montserrat Vineyards on Sunday, June 26. This concert features an opportunity for patrons to purchase individual tickets as well as full tables.

Tickets can be purchased at the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce Office or by calling 660-747-7253. Tickets include complimentary souvenir wine glasses, table snacks, and two more opportunities. The opportunities are for decorating tables for prizes and bidding on a prize package to include: receiving a conductor’s baton, a score to “The Stars and Stripes Forever,” and the opportunity to conduct the band playing that march as the last selection on the program.

All concerts, except the Joplin concert, are free and open to the public. Each concert will feature a wide variety of music to include overtures, marches, and show tunes, as well as vocal and/or instrumental soloists.

Monday, July 4 – Missouri Veterans’ Home in Warrensburg at 3:30 p.m.

Monday, July 4 – Freedom Spectacular Grover Park Baptist Church in Warrensburg at at 7:30 p.m.

Monday, July 25 – UCM President’s Concert in the UCM Quadrangle at 7:30 p.m.
