“Tartuffe” tells the tale of Tartuffe, a man who insinuates himself in the home of the wealthy Orgon. Tartuffe manages to win the respect and devotion of Orgon, marry his daughter, then seduce his wife. Will the evil behind the mask of religious fervor succeed?
“The Department of Theatre and Dance welcomed two new design faculty this semester and they have brought a fabulous new understanding and perspective to this classic work,” said Dr. Julie Rae Mollenkamp, the director of the production. “Tartuffe is a hilarious play. But not only will there be laughter, the show will also be a feast for the heart, eyes and ears,” she said.
Dr. Mollenkamp insists the production will be a great play for students, faculty and community
