Denzel Lee Shaeffer, 91, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home with Pastor Murlin Anstine officiating.

Interment with military honors will follow the service at Mineral Creek Cemetery in Leeton. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
