Carol Ruth Davis, age 76, a kind and giving strong woman with a tremendous love for her family, died on Friday, March 30, at Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care in Kansas City, Missouri.Granting to her wishes, a private family funeral and burial will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. The family invites you to join them for a celebration and visitation reception on Wednesday, April 4 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Milestone Barn, 380 NW State RT 13, Warrensburg, Missouri.
She was born on Jan 7, 1942. The daughter of Gayles and Meda (Burns) Pine. Carol attended College High School in Warrensburg, followed by William Woods University and University of Mary Hardin Baylor.
For 46 years, she was a second-generation business owner of Meda Pine Tax Service , where she was groomed by her mother, she loved working with her clients and their families.
She was civic minded and had a passion for political campaigns, humbly working behind the scenes.
Carol is preceded in death by parents, Meda and Gayle and one sister Betty Lockhard. She will forever be remembered by her husband and dear friend, Wendell Davis, celebrating 55 years of marriage, and their pride and joy twin children, Wendy (Jim) Doyle, and Chad (Christi Allen) Davis and one grandson Ryan Davis.
