“Moving off the Wall”

Mid-Missouri Artists presents “Moving off the Wall:” journeys in textile-based installation and sculpture.
The public is invited to learn about installation art at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 26 in the Arts and Crafts Room of the Community Center, 445 East Gay street.
In presenting “Moving off the Wall:” Journeys in Textile-Based Installation and Sculpture, Rowswell will share how her experience as a Japanese flower arranging instructor led her to push fiber art to another dimension. She will explain her process in creating installation work and developing community-based art experiences. All MMA programs are free and open to the public.
MMA Is a multi-county organization focused on Johnson, Lafayette, Henry, and Pettis counties, but with members from several other counties and four other states.
Persons interested in a program or in possible membership are encouraged to visit a meeting.
