Clarence “Shorty” Gammons, 61, of Warrensburg died Sunday, July 29, at Saint Luke’s Hospital.Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 2, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until service time.

He was born June 1, 1957, in Wyatt, Missouri, the son of Clarence and Kathryn Gammons. In Sept. of 1986, he and Brenda Satterwhite were united in marriage in Reno, Nevada.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Brenda Gammons, of Warrensburg; three sons, Nathan (Kate) Gammons of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Anthony (Shannon) Satterwhite of California; and Richard Harmon of Warrensburg; and a granddaughter, Michala Satterwhite.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Johnson County Cancer Society and can be left in care of the funeral home.
