Cheryl Lynn Johnson, 55, of Holden, Missouri, died Aug. 5, at Lee’s Summit Medical Center. Memorial Services were held 11 a.m. Friday Aug. 10, at the Holden Community of Christ Church, 401 South Pine, Holden Missouri, 64040.

Cheryl was born Dec. 9, 1962, to David Elwood Hancock and Mavis Lee (Shatwell) Hancock in Clinton, Missouri. Cheryl graduated from High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and worked as a house- keeper at John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit.

Cheryl is survived by one son, Ryan Johnson, Blue Springs, Missouri; one daughter, Jennifer Johnson, Holden, Missouri; three brothers, Paul Hancock and wife Linda, Holden, Missouri, Dewayne Hancock and wife Jeanette, Jasper, Arkansas, Scott Allen Hancock, Holden, Missouri; one sister Paula Martin, Holden, Missouri; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
