Woman pleads guilty to dealing drugs from day care

(CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., AP) — A southeast Missouri woman is expected to get shock jail time and probation after pleading guilty to dealing prescription pain pills from her day care center.

The Southeast Missourian (http://bit.ly/QEuVPR) reports that 37-year-old Keisha McReynolds entered the plea Monday. She could get up to 15 years in prison but a deal with prosecutors calls for 120 days of shock incarceration and probation.

McReynolds sold pills to a confidential informant with the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force at the day care she operated, Beautiful Beginnings Childcare of Cape Girardeau.

Her lawyer, Malcolm Montgomery, says McReynolds is remorseful.
