Following sixth-place finishes at the Southwest Baptist Invitational, Mules and Jennies cross country will head to Joplin for the Missouri Southern Stampede.

Both teams will be looking to improve on their sixth place finish out of nine teams in the season opening meet at Southwest Baptist University. Host team Missouri Southern is coming off a first place finish at that same meet.

The Mules and Jennies races are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course in Joplin.
