Judd Edward McNeil, 87, of Holden, Missouri, died Oct. 2, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Graveside services were held 10 a.m. Oct. 5, at Mount Calvary Cemetery in, Holden, Missouri, with Military honors by VFW Post 5844 and American Legion Post 90.
Judd was born Aug. 9, 1931 to Judson Jones McNeil and Essie Marie Masters McNeil in Kansas City, Kansas. Judd was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in the Korean war.
He was a member of the Holden VFW Post 5844 and the American Legion Post 90. Judd retired from Agco as a computer programmer. He liked to fish and hunt and loved to spend time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Eleta J. McNeil of the home, sons; Judd McNeil Jr. and wife, Carol of Warrensburg, Charles Martin and wife, Laurie of Westfield, Indiana, Ronnie Rogers of Florida, daughters; Juanita McCarty and husband, Steven of Holden, Debbie McNeil of California, Janie McNeil of Arkansas, Jeri McNeil of California and Sherry Rogers of Florida; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Eric E. McNeil and Steven R. McNeil; and granddaughter, Melissa Dawn McCarty.
