The UCM Mules football team heads to St. Joseph today to open the 2012 season with a conference matchup against 18th-ranked Missouri Western.

The game starts at at 6 p.m. as the Mules look to get back to the postseason for the third straight year under third-year head coach Jim Svoboda.
