Adelia Faye Slack, 98, Holden Missouri, died April 28, at her home.Visitation will be Friday May 4, at 10 a.m. at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home with services following the visitation at 11 a.m.

Adelia (Deedy) was born Jan. 13, 1920 to Fred and Nell Snow. She grew up in the Elm community and Lamar, Missouri area.

Adelia married T.J. Slack in 1940 in Peculiar, Missouri. They spent their married life on their dairy farm in Pittsville, Missouri. She was a member of the Pittsville Extension Club for many years.

Adelia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Lucy Mae Davis and one brother, Forrest Snow.

She is survived by her children, Mary and husband Leslie Hamlin; Tom and Wife Linda Slack; Nancy and husband Don Lawson; Jeanie and husband Gordon Jones; Shirley and husband Herb Shaw. Ten grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice or Cobb Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
