Ardyce (Oglevie, Kendrick) Huston, 85, died peacefully June 14, at her home in Blue Springs, Missouri.
Private gravesite services will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Holden, Missouri, at 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, for family members.
Ardyce was born in Kingsville, Missouri, on Jan. 4, 1931, to Jesse Carrol and Agnes Belle (Amend) Oglevie, who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Marvin Kendrick; one son Robert “Bob” Kendrick; three sisters, Retha Massman, LeVesta Massman and Luetta Verlyn Fisher; and her brother, Vergil Oglevie.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Joe Huston; and his daughter, Stacie (Monte) Porter; two daughters, Sandra Kendrick and Rhonda (Brian) Kelly; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Ardyce was a member of the Community of Christ Church. She was an avid reader, gardener and quilter. She enjoyed all sports, especially the Royals, Chiefs and Tigers.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fairview Cemetery Fund in her name at Community of Christ Church, 401 S Pine St., Holden, Missouri, 64040.
