Cecil E. Price Jr., 50, of Warrensburg, died Sunday, June 3, after a long, heroic journey with cancer.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 8, at the Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.

The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens with a Celebration of Life following at 4 p.m. at Hero’s in Warrensburg.

Cecil was born Dec. 21, 1967, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Cecil and Julia Price of Warrensburg. He is a brother to Alice Parker, Chris Price, Amanda (Shawn)

Hamilton and Mike Parker. He is uncle to his nieces; Cheyenne and Bailey Parker, his nephews Price and Paden Hamilton; and a great-nephew; Bear Marsh. He also has countless relatives in Tennessee and Arkansas.

Cecil’s great pleasures were watching NASCAR with friends at the Kansas City Speedway, VIP passes to Legends of Golf, and traveling with his friends, parents and Chris, his brother and best friend.

He was delighted with life even though he was dealt challenges and he always had a smile on his face. Cecil cherished his friends and family.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Johnson County Cancer Foundation and can be left in care of the funeral home.
