Charlotte Marie Mennemeier

Charlotte Marie Mennemeier, 62, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg. Interment will follow in Knob Noster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Mennemeier, Dustin Dodson, Saber Storms, Kelvin Storms, Spencer Gerhart, and Waylan Bashrum. Trevon Storms will be an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Charlotte Marie Mennemeier

She was born Nov. 6, 1954, in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Charles Raymond and Johnnie Marie Ingram Barlow.

On April 27, 1984, she and Jerome Mennemeier were united in marriage in Sedalia, Missouri.

Charlotte raised four children. She was very proud of them and her grandchildren. She loved traveling and hunting. She owned and managed restaurants. One of her hobbies was prepping fossils.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Jerome, of Warrensburg; a daughter, Dawn Ybarra, of Knob Noster, Missouri; two sons, Jeremy Mennemeier and wife, Jessica, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; and Joseph Mennemeier of Florida; a daughter, Toni Hicks, of Warrensburg; two brothers, Mike Magee and wife, Ginny, of Knob Noster; and Chuck Barlow of Knob Noster; two sisters, Vicki Monaco and husband, Jim, of Arroyo Seco, Mexico; and Tedi Miles of Knob Noster; niece, Tifny Dodson and husband, Dustin, of Warrensburg; and her grandchildren, Trevon, Kelvin, Daniel, Avorey, Kaylan, Morgan, Gavin, Madison, and Ethan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Fraxa Research Foundation and can be left in care of the funeral home.
