The Chilhowee Indians opened the season with a 53-25 road victory over Mid-State Conference foe Wentworth.

The Indians led 13-4 after the opening quarter despite cold shooting from the floor. The Tribe went into the locker room at the half leading 22-12.
Chilhowee finally opened things up in the second half behind the scoring of seniors Dillon Anstine, Nick Dallas and Matt West. Anstine led the Indians with 13 points and eight rebounds. Dallas and West each chipped in eight.

Chilhowee is back in action Thursday night at home against Green Ridge.
