(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) —Friday, April 4, Central Missouri Community Credit Union (CMCCU) held its 52^nd Annual Meeting at the University of Central Missouri’s Multipurpose Building.   CMCCU is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned and controlled by its members.  Every year, CMCCU members come together to review the Annual Report, discuss highlights from the previous year, and make plans for the future.  This year, more than 500 members and guests turned out to celebrate the cooperative spirit.

One of the speakers, Missouri Credit Union Association President, Don Cohenour, took a panoramic picture of the crowd during his speech.  Coenhour said, “I want to show others all the love and celebration you put into your Annual Meeting…take a look around, these are the very folks who are coming together to lead your financial institution.”

At the meeting, CMCCU held elections to fill two terms on the Board of Directors and one term on the Supervisory Committee.   Volunteers elected to the Board of Directors were Brenda Chambers, Warrensburg and Harry Poynter, Warrensburg.  Lynn Snow, Green Ridge, was elected to serve on the Supervisory Committee.

Carol White, CEO, said, “Most of our focus this past year and for 2014 has been on the completion of our new main headquarters in Warrensburg.  We also continue to look to the future and have been planning the expansion of our Sedalia location.”  White also spoke about the evening’s success, “I was honored to have so many of our members attend the Annual Meeting supporting their Credit Union!”
