Connie Ann Jones, age 75, Holden, Missouri, died Friday, April 1, at the Holden Manor Care Center.
A visitation is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 4, at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home. A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Fairview Cemetery.
Connie was born July 27, 1940, in Holden, Missouri, the daughter of Jesse and Winnie (Stahl) Dixon. She lived in Holden all of her life. She married Joseph Jones on May 22, 1962, in Holden, Missouri.
She owned and operated many businesses in the Holden area, the House of Beauty where Connie was a hairdresser for many years, the Country Meat Shoppe from 1981-1999 and The Iron Kettle Antique Shop until her passing. Connie was a member of the Rainbow Girls and was a member of the Community of Christ Church, Holden Missouri.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Jones on Sept. 5, 2015, and one brother, Jim Dixon.
Surviving her passing is one son, Wayne Jones and wife Debbie, Holden, Missouri; one daughter, Carmen Lambert and husband David of Holden, Missouri. Also surviving her passing are five grandchildren, Stacie Cowell and husband David of Holden, Missouri, Travis Jones and wife Kendra of Strasburg, Missouri, Corie Locascio of Holden, Missouri, Bradley Lambert and Shannon McDonough of Warrensburg, Missouri, and Valerie Davis and husband Tyler of Kingsville, Missouri; and eight great-grandchildren, Liam and Allie Cowell, Gage Lambert, Caroline, Charlie and Caitlin Locascio and Olivia and Owen Joseph Jones.
Pallbearers are Wayne Jones, Travis Jones, Bradley Lambert, David Cowell, Tyler Davis, Chuck Johnson and Liam Cowell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holden Manor Care Center, Holden, Missouri, in memory of Connie Jones.
