Connie L. Lycan, 79, of Raytown, Missouri, died Sunday, June 28, at Westridge Gardens Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Raytown.

Connie was born Feb. 14, 1936, in Holden, Missouri, the daughter of Raymond C. and Marie M. (Byler) Whittenburg. She graduated from Holden High School. She was united in marriage to Robert M. Lycan on Dec. 21, 1957, in Holden. The couple lived in Greenwood, Missouri, for over 30 years. Later, they resided at Truman Lake and later, Deepwater. Connie had resided in Raytown for the past five years. She loved going fishing with her husband, Bob.

Survivors include her sister, Carol Lycan, of Lee’’s Summit, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; brother-in-law, James Lycan, and both parents.

Following cremation, there will be no services.
