The Crest Ridge girls basketball team beat Sacred Heart 36-26 Tuesday, improving to 5-1 on the season.

Crest Ridge led 23-7 at the half.

Lily Hunter had 14 points for Crest Ridge, and Bre Wonderly added 10 points and five rebounds.

“We had another great team defensive effort tonight,” said coach Katie Woolsey.

Crest Ridge is scheduled to face Lexington on the road Thursday.
