The Crest Ridge girls basketball team thumped Kingsville 73-18 Tuesday.
“Great season opener,” said coach Katie Woolsey. “We played well together as a team on both ends of the court. We suited up eight tonight, and they all played hard and contributed.”
Crest Ridge led 21-11 at halftime, and kept Kingsville off the board in the third quarter.
Lily Hunter had 29 points and nine rebounds for Crest Ridge. Bre Wonderly had 14 points, six rebounds and three steals. Mel Branscum had 10 points and eight assists.
