David Sullivan, 73, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Wednesday, May 25, at Ridge Crest Nursing Center.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.

David was born April 1, 1943, in Goldsboro, N.C., the son of Amizith and Golden (Strickland) Sullivan.

He and Evelyn Legg were united in marriage on April 5, 1975, in Goldsboro. She preceded him in death on Oct. 27, 1998.

David is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Ann Sullivan, of Warrensburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Jessalynn Gallagher.
