(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The enrollment deadline for the 40-hour Basic Dispatch Certification Training course offered by the Central Missouri Police Academy and the Institute for Public Safety at the University of Central Missouri has been extended to April 15. The course is planned for May 12-16 in Dockery 201 on the UCM campus in Warrensburg, Mo.
Course instructors have extensive training in supervising a metro area police communications unit, revising and building in-house training programs, and providing instruction in certified dispatch training. The course, the first of its kind to be offered by the academy, includes two days of practical exercises, providing students with the most realistic training possible.
Cost for the course is $275 per person, or $255 per person for the first 12 registrants prior to April 15. Enrollment may be completed online at MissouriSafteyCenter.com.
