(WARRENSBURG,Mo.) – Dillon Drywall recently donated their time and materials to Habitat for Humanity’s home under construction in Warrensburg.

Paul Dillon and Mike Gross worked on the site, moving the house one step closer to completion at 628 W. Gay St. Dillon Drywall secured the drywall materials at low cost, hung, taped, applied mud and finished the drywall for the home.

“We try to do business in the community and give back when we can,” Dillon said. “It’s for a good cause.”

Dillon Drywall is a family-owned and run business, incorporated in 1997 and based out of Holden, Mo.

“Drywall is a great milestone,” said Brian Niemuth, Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County construction committee member. “Once drywall is hung in a house, it really starts to take shape.”

Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, builds simple, quality, affordable housing in partnership with people in need in Johnson County. The organization has built seven homes in Johnson County with one in progress.
