Doris Ann Schroeder

She was born Nov. 18, 1931, in Centerview, Missouri, the daughter of William and Clara (Swope) Kuhlman. Early childhood found her attending school in Warrensburg, Missouri, but she later moved to Concordia, Missouri, where she graduated from high school. After graduation, she attended Central Business College in Sedalia, Missouri.

On Aug. 20, 1952, she and Floyd Schroeder were united in marriage. From that union two children were born, Becky and Mike.

Doris loved being a homemaker and cook for Knob Noster High School and later working for Gates Energy Products and EnerSys.

She loved the Lord all her life and especially her First Christian Church family in Warrensburg.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Becky Adney and husband, Dave, of Independence, Missouri; and her son, Mike Schroeder and wife, Debbie, of Claremore, Oklahoma. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the First Christian Church of Warrensburg for the stained-glass renovation and can be left in care of the funeral home.
