Central Missouri Police Academy Open House

The Central Missouri Police Academy at the University of Central Missouri will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The academy is located at 200 Ming Street in Warrensburg.
The event is open to the public. Guests may view displays, test their skills with interactive activities, and learn more about crime scene investigation in the Crime Scene Room.
Refreshments will be provided.
The Central Missouri Police Academy and Institute for Public Safety, a division of the Missouri Safety Center at UCM, is a basic law enforcement academy and full-service education provider.
The CMPA is approved by the Missouri POST Commission to provide basic peace officer training. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify through the Dama Cooper Police Academy Scholarship, UCM Student Financial Services, Workforce Development and UCM’s Military and Veteran Success Center. College credit is also available.
