The Warrensburg Farmers’ Market annual customer appreciation day is set for 7:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, Aug. 8, on the Johnson County Courthouse lawn along Holden Street.

Baked goods will be available in the morning along with coffee and juice. Visitors can enter their name into a drawing for prizes donated by the vendors, including fresh produce, baked goods, home décor items and honey. Farmers’ Market T-shirts will also be available for purchase, with some given away as prizes.

Visitors can participate in several activities throughout the day. Vendors will participate in a booth decoration contest judged by customers with the winner receiving a plaque donated by Snyder’s Garden.

Trails Regional Library will host Story Time at the Market at 9:30 a.m., which is a child-friendly event with stories, songs and bubbles. Visitors can also watch live food demonstrations by the MU Extension office. Local musicians will perform throughout the day.
