The University of Central Missouri is hosting an Earth Week Green Luncheon from 12:30-1:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Classroom C. This is an eco-friendly luncheon with menu selections by Sodexo chefs using local products. Jere Gettle, owner of Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company in Mansfield, Missouri, is scheduled to speak on the importance of heirloom seeds, eating local and the politics of food.
