The seventh annual Eclectic Café Concert Series continues at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, featuring the soulful banjo and expressive vocals of Kelly Hunt. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, now based in Kansas City, Hunt brings her talents to Warrensburg for the first time at the original Johnson County Courthouse, 302 N. Main St., on the west side of Warrensburg.

The acoustics of the 175-year old building allows the performers to play without amplification. Candles and mirrors provide the lighting. Seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. All performances are presented free of charge. However, donations will be accepted to benefit the Johnson County Historical Society.
