Get your flu shot

The University Health Center is offering flu shots on the Warrensburg and Lee’s Summit campuses.
Flu shots are available from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 in Union 236 on the Warrensburg campus, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Lee’s Summit campus. Participants are advised to bring their insurance cards for their flu shots.
The university will file claims to all insurance plans except for Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare Prime. The out-of-pocket cost will be $25 to be charged to student account. The university has a limited amount of high-dose for people over the age of 65. The university will file to all insurance plans except for Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare Prime, otherwise it’s $40.
