Home improvement code class

Tuesday, May 8, building inspection and zoning staff members will conduct an informational session for homeowners who are preparing to embark on home improvement projects in the Community Center, from 6-8:30 p.m. 445 E. Gay Street, Room C.
Homeowners are invited to attend this one night class to learn what types of projects require a permit and an overview of applicable building, and zoning codes and ordinances for common home improvement projects.
Each attendee will receive a $20 gift certificate toward their future building permit fee.
The class is free to attend but call City Hall, 660-747-9135 to pre-register.
