John Louder will give a presentation at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Mid-Missouri Artists meeting in the Arts and Crafts room of the Warrensburg Community Center, 445 E. Gay St. His program is titled “Process, On Location and in the Studio” and will include a slide presentation about working in the field and back in the studio, including the layering of values/colors in his studio oil paintings.

Louder is professor and program coordinator at UCM. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in studio art from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art from the University of Oregon and Whitman College. He teaches studio painting at all levels.

All MMA meetings are free and open to the public. Persons attending the program should enter the Community Center at the main entrance.
