A program titled “A Scanning Reunion” by Rich Monson will be presented during the Mid-Missouri Artists meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29,  in Multi A of the Warrensburg Community Center, 445 E. Gay St. The presentation is open to the public and comes from a series of 14, 30-minute television programs called “Scanning the Visual Arts,” which was supported by the Mid-Missouri Artists. Monson produced the programs in the early 1980s for UCM TV, Channel 6.

The presentation will include images of a host of artists, including Doug Freed and Myrna Ragar, of Sedalia; Sid Larson, of Columbia; Dennis Yates and local artists such as Ed Ellis, Tommy Thompson, Iona Heck and others.

Additional support for the television programs was provided by the UCM Department of Art, Instructional TV, the Sedalia Art Association, and Citizen’s Bank of Warrensburg.
