On Sept. 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Old Drum open mic night will include poets, novelists, story tellers, composers, songwriters, comics, memoirists, short story writers and playwrights. Artists can present their works before an audience, and join the community of friends who are interested in supporting the art scene in the Warrensburg area.

Presentation time slots are limited to 15 minutes, and most presenters require only a fraction of that, allowing more presentations during the evening. The program is free and open to the public.
