UCM Opera Theatre presents ‘The Magic Flute’

The Performing Arts Series and department of music at the University of Central Missouri present the UCM Opera Theatre production of Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, in Hendricks Hall.
The evening will spotlight the talents of UCM Opera Theater students with piano accompaniment and will be sung in English.
“The Magic Flute” will be under the direction of Matthew Haney, a stage director and UCM faculty member. Haney has served as the principal stage director of Rimrock Opera, including productions of Rigoletto and “The Crucible.”
Tickets are available through the Central Tickets Box Office in Administration 100B, by calling 660-543-8888, online at ucmpas.com, and one hour prior to showtime.
The cost is $3 for students in kindergarten through 12th grade and UCM students, and $7 for adults.
