Whitworth Memorial Fund hosts speakers at UCM

The Blaine Whitworth Memorial Speaker Series will present a workshop explaining how nonprofits use business models to earn income and revenue from 1:30-2:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, in the Ward Edwards Building, Room 2000, at the University of Central Missouri.
Chris Ruhnke will give a presentation on online marketing, fundraising and communication strategies. Stormy Taylor will explain the business model of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Chris Ruhnke is a UCM alumnus and is now director of development for Show-Me Christian Youth Home.
Stormy Taylor is a UCM alumna and is an adjunct instructor at UCM. She has been director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County since 2000.
The fall 2015 Blaine Whitworth Speaker Series will feature three sessions focused on the challenges facing nonprofits.
